Prayer Single View

Heavenly Father, Yahweh, Jehovah, Almighty God, As a Catholic, I stand in faith and prayer with the people of Israel. We worship the one Almighty God—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—whom we call Yahweh, Jehovah, and our Heavenly Father. We are bound by the faith of Abraham, whose descendants, as You promised, would be as countless as the stars in the heavens. Though our traditions may differ, may our shared spiritual heritage remind us that faith, compassion, and humanity must always prevail over hatred and division. The actions of the Filipino representatives who walked out of the UN Assembly do not represent the hearts of all Filipinos. Lord, protect Israel, its people, and its brave soldiers fighting terrorism and its proxies. Deliver them from harm and evil, strengthen their courage, and grant them safety, justice, and lasting peace. May hatred give way to compassion, fear to hope, and war to peace. May You bless and protect Israel, now and always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
